US Open GolfThe 2011 US Open Championship, the 111th U.S. Open, began on June 16 and ended on June 19. It was won by Rory Mcllroy, from Northern Ireland, who set 11 U.S. Open records on the weekend including the lowest total 72 hole score (268) and the lowest total under par (−16). Mcllroy and Robert Garrigus became the fifth and sixth golfers in U.S. Open history to score under par in all four rounds.

Watch UFC 131 Replay and Results

UFC 131: Dos Santos vs. Carwin was held by the Ultimate Fighting Championship on June 11, 2011 at the Rogers Arena in Vancouver, British Columbia. Brock Lesnar was originally scheduled to face Junior dos Santos after their coaching stint on The Ultimate Fighter 13, but due to a reoccurring illness, Lesnar was replaced by Shane Carwin.

Watch NBA Finals 2011 Replay Highlights, Results

2011 NBA Finals: The Western Conference champion Dallas Mavericks defeated the Eastern Conference champion Miami Heat, 4–2, to win their first NBA title and Dirk Nowitzki won the 2011 NBA Finals MVP trophy. Dallas became the latest NBA team from Texas to win its first title, after the Houston Rockets won back-to-back titles in 1994 and 1995, and the San Antonio Spurs won in 1999, 2003, 2005, and 2007; all three Texas NBA teams have now won at least one NBA Championship.
