The Open 2009 Golf Championship is the 138th Open Championship held on July 16-19, 2009 at Scotland Turnberry Resort in South Ayrshire, Scotland. The three-time Open Champion, Tiger Woods is sadly out of the competition. It's the second time that Woods did not play the final 36 holes in a major.
